LODGING
FOR DOGS, CATS & OTHER SMALL PETS...
Great vacations start with clean comfortable rooms,
an attentative staff, and lots of things to do. We offer all of that and more. The resort is designed to keep pets cozy in
the winter and cool in the summer. There are
all sorts of activities to make their stay fun and safe. Heavy-duty exhaust fans, hot water heat, fresh air and skylights
keep the facility healthy and bright. There are many areas for doggie guests to romp and play both indoors and out. Outdoor
areas are securely fenced for our guests' safety. Our cat guests have their own screened in sun porch away from the
noise and activities of the our dog guests.
Accommodations for Dogs... The Garden Cottage Suites are our most luxurious rooms; they have lots of windows, large comfortable beds, rugs, home-like décor and many VIP services. Breakfast in bed and room service dinner is served daily. Four daily exercise sessions or Doggie Day Camp are also included. Pet families may also share a suite. Reserve your dog's suite early, as suites fill quickly.
Lodge Rooms are our most popular rooms. Each large
room includes a comfortable camp style bed, three daily exercise periods and room service dinner served daily. Other
services are available ala-carte. Lodge rooms will accommodate pet families of two less active guests.
Bunk Bed Rooms are reserved for our
small, geriatric or restricted activity guests. The upper "bunks" are ideal for the shy little ones, because they
can play king of the mountain with their larger neighbors. Guests are cuddled and given lots of TLC while being taken in and
out of their rooms. Bunks include cuddle beds, room service dinner and several exercise periods. Other services are ala-carte.
Accommodations for Cats...
Kitty Condos are bright and airy with a skylight and patio doors so that every guest has a view of the trees, birds and other wildlife. Each cat gets to spend time each day on our sun porch playing on our jungle gym or soaking up the sun on the window ledges. Our cat room is separate from our dog kennel areas to assure peace and quiet for our kitty guests. Our cat condos can be one to three floor levels and can accommodate up to three cats from the same family. Litter boxes are furnished with each condo.
Accommodations for Other Small or Exotic Pets…
The lodge has many quiet spaces for a variety of other pets. Birds, Rabbits, Gerbils and Pot Bellied Pigs are just a few types of pets who have spent vacation time at Connie Winters' Kennels. We may ask that you bring their own cages and food. Call for current rates for your small or exotic pet. |
